Brittany Cooper

Owner/Head Trainer

Brittany started riding at age 8 and has dreamt BIG every since then of being able to have a career in riding. She grew up riding horses and ponies that were never simple and always forced her to have new tricks in her hat to get them to be successful and safe for others to ride. Golden Opportunity aka "Sundance" around the farm, was her first horse and she still resides at Black Ridge today. She taught Brittany how to really pursue the passion that is found in riding and to have the drive that leads to success. Brittany went to college at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ for business management. She graduated in three years with her Bachelors in Business and a minor in equine studies. Throughout college she rode with trainers to gain show experience and at the same time be able to meet those professionals that later help her to excel on the show circuit. In April of 2012 Brittany took over Black Ridge Farm from her parents and has been running it full time since. "We have a unique quality at Black Ridge that makes us stand out, we LOVE our jobs and the people we work with. At Black Ridge we are a family."
