She taught Brittany how to pursue the passion that is found in riding and to have the drive that leads to success. Brittany went to college at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ for business management. She graduated in three years with her Bachelors in Business and a minor in Equine Studies. Throughout college she worked and rode with highly skilled trainers to gain invaluable show experience and access to a range of professionals who continue to provide guidance and expertise that have helped Brittany and her students excel on the show circuit. In April 2012 Brittany took over Black Ridge Farm from her parents and has been running it full time since. Jess is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she was also a member of the equestrian team, even further cultivating her love and passion of horses. Jess went on to graduate school where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While she teaches lessons at BRF, she also works at the Center for Discovery with children and adults with developmental disabilities.
